You may fool a customer into signing with low prices, but you won't fool them for long when they realize their phones never work. Sprint waives it if you sign up for your plan and buy your phone online. Yeah no customer service is what is ever expected but sprint is at the bottom of the pile without a doubt. Still, while I'm sticking Bad customer service with Sprint for now, I can't recommend the service to new customers given the way that they treat even folks who've been with them for a long time.

But it is one that flows out of MOST(not all) customers' choice to go with the lowest price - no matter how bad customer service is. And when the customers choose price over quality(Walmart is a prime example), the companies will usually control costs by cutting customer service(which is expensive due to labor costs).
